I had the opportunity to meet Paige Adams-Geller of Paige Premium Denim on Saturday as a part of an event at Holt Renfrew, Bloor Street. I'll have a full write-up of the event in Prospere Magazine in the issue out tomorrow morning, but meanwhile, here's a picture of the jeans I got! The jeans are the Pico low-rise boot cut in the petite length (approximately 31"), size 24.

Now see, I consider those jeans to be the problem. A 31" inseam? On a "petite" jean? My 6' tall husband wears a 30" inseam. I couldn't wear those, I couldn't wear them in heels, I could barely wear them on stilts!
Look around the mall next time you are out and about, and you will find I am not alone in this problem.
Shortwoman,
A 31" inseam should work pretty well for an AVERAGE petite woman (probably around 5'2") if she's wearing a 2 inch heel. Paige's jeans are made for heel-wearers - the "regular" length is 34", which is about 1 or 2 inches longer than many other brands.
In terms of your husband's inseam, I think guys' inseams are measured differently. My boyfriend's pants are only 2 inches longer than mine, yet he's 8 1/2 inches taller.
